VoIP Telephone Service
Everything you currently get from your telephone company ("telco"). "Plain old telephone service", voice mail, 3-way calling and so forth is available with WorldSmart's business voip telephone systems. All for an investment that beats your telco's rates while giving you more business related features (below) plus a hosted PBX, that you'd have to pay extra for anywhere else.
Our business VoIP service allows you to place telephone calls anywhere in the world (subject to your firm's rules and procedures) with very low per minute rates (toll charges). Place your VoIP initiated call to any "regular" or VoIP phone in the United States and Canada for just 3 cents per minute.

VoIP PBX
A VoIP PBX (electronic switchboard) that is hosted by PanTerra's† WorldSmart®. You don't have to purchase any PBX hardware, nor do you have to maintain the Internet PBX itself. No obsolescence worries. You will save a bundle over purchasing your own in-house business PBX.
Your VoIP business PBX offers many features:
- Auto attendant ("press one for sales, two for technical support," etc.) or live operator(s).
- Handle incoming calls depending upon day and time (your business is open or closed) . A few clicks is all it takes to configure your VoIP PBX.
- Call park, pickup, transfer. Example: Grocery clerk answers phone, puts caller on hold, announces on intercom "Call for bakery on line 2", then bakery picks up the call. Or first person to answer a call can transfer it to another employee who can help the caller.
- Find me / follow me: An incoming call can find you based upon your distribution list. This is actually a PBX feature that each user can configure for himself. It can try your VoIP desk phone first at your place of business, then your cellular phone, then your VoIP or telco home phone, and finally to voice mail on the PBX. You can send it directly to where you know you're going to be without trying other phones first. Or you can have it ring all your telephones at once (VoIP desk, cellular, home).
- Call blast: Ring several phones at once within a business' group as defined on your PBX. First one to pick up gets the call.
- Automatically send voice mail as an email sound (.wav) attachment to your email IN box, then pick it up with your PDA or computer.
- Free inter-office VoIP calls. It doesn't matter which business office you are calling. Your contact can be in the same building or in England. As long as they're on your PBX system, the call is free.
Flexibility
Employees who are designated as your business's "administrators" have an Internet control panel ("dashboard") available to them that allows them to control who has access to your VoIP telephone system, what features they can use, how group calls are routed within your business, and all the other flexible features of your PBX system.
All "users" (seats) have an individual "dashboard" that allows each to handle his/her personal PBX features (voice mail messages, find me / follow me, etc.)
- Add, change, or remove extensions (seats) with just a few keystrokes.
- Add a new DID ("direct inward dial" in other words, "a telephone number") for an ad campaign (to measure effectiveness) and release the number when you're finished with it. Assign a DID to a particular business extension to bypass the usual PBX activity (calls go directly to that phone and follow that employee's routing rules).
- Upgrade or downgrade a seat from one of the three VoIP plans to another.
Collaboration
- Private Instant Message (IM) network with encryption. Contact anyone in your organization's business VoIP network or other WorldSmart® users with full security.
- All IM "conversations" are archived so you can review what you said later on.
- Instant file transfers
- Allow another person to see what's on your computer screen (or a portion of the screen)*.
